Proposal outline:

We offer an open and accessible solution to all interested users combining existing technologies in the field of e-learning in the energy sectors of Europe and Ukraine applying homogeneous unified learning environment (such as Moodle), modern information tools (such as e-learning and virtual models of Power System (VPS) of Europe and Ukraine) developed by Infotec Ltd on the basis of modern Internet technology as network of virtual training centers (VTS).

Objectives (state-of-the-art / innovation)

• A significant increase in the quality of professional training in almost all the countries concerns personnel on a single methodological platform.
• Design and development of common standards for training and training simulation in energy sector.
• The new innovative technologies and training systems should be open to the developers as well as to school students, university students and energy companies’ staff at their workplaces.

Our proposal includes environments for new learning experience and experimentation ( 3D simulation and modelling technologies, visualization technologies, augmented and virtual reality, location intelligence, intelligent tutors and other adaptive and multimodal technologies).

Impact:

• improvement of education level, skills of maintenance personnel and simplified control of knowledge for all energy sector;
• access to quality knowledge for a large number of students and staff of enterprises in convenient time, reducing travel expenses.

It will give more opportunities for students to obtain correct knowledge about different modes of real equipment, their characteristics and possibilities before working at power utilities of the country.

Working personnel will get the possibility to practice with simulation of the conditions of accidents and methods of their rapid elimination through the development of scenarios of projected accidents and the organization of training exercises at real equipment using virtual models of the United Energy System of the country.
