The "Connected Cultures" project is a dynamic and innovative Erasmus+ initiative that facilitates interactive language exchange sessions to promote cultural diversity, digital inclusion, and environmental awareness among participants. With a focus on harnessing technology and creative methodologies, the project seeks to make language learning engaging, accessible, and impactful.

Objectives:

  • To implement interactive language exchange sessions that leverage technology, interactive tools, and engaging content to foster cross-cultural understanding and language proficiency.
  • To promote digital inclusion by providing diverse engagement options, including both online and offline language exchange activities for participants with varying access to technology.
  • To integrate environmental awareness into language exchange sessions, encouraging sustainable practices among participants and promoting eco-consciousness.
  • To create a sense of community and belonging among participants, to promote inclusivity and mutual respect for diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • To empower participants to become cultural ambassadors and advocate inclusivity in their communities.

The endeavour wants to leverage on Innovative Methodologies as:

Virtual Language Cafés: Host online language cafés using video conferencing tools, enabling participants to interact with language partners from different countries in a virtual cafe setting. This fosters intercultural dialogue and language practice in a creative and engaging way.

Digital Storytelling: Encourage participants to share their cultural stories through digital platforms, such as blogs, videos, or social media.
