Better use of available wood biomass for products and energy

Wood is a limited and conditionally renewable resource.
It best serves humanity while live in the forest.
What is necessary cut first of all should be converted into products that people use directly. It must be efficient (energy and material) and environmentally friendly.
The rest (not waste) from processing should be used for energy primarily on site.
