The participants of the project will be in their second and third year from the study fields: confectioner, kitchen and restaurant associate, and mechanic of machines. The target countries are Hungary (Budapest) for the students and Italy (Milan) for the students and for the teachers. We plan the realization of our mobility for the next school year in September/October 2015 for the students, and in April 2016 for the teachers. The aims of the project: Activity nr. 1 - Vocational training abroad for the students Study field: Confectioner The aim of the training is to add theoretical knowledge and practical skills to the students' already existing knowledge in the field of dessert making, which can be useful in their future professional life as well. Study field: Mechanic of machines In this field we concentrate on the study materials of the subjects engineering technology, technology of manual processing of metals, and engineering. Within the subject engineering technology students start with metallurgy, where they learn about technical materials and about their examination, but mostly they concentrate on the field of metal cutting. Students learn about the following techniques: turning, milling, drilling, grinding, planing, and boring. On the practical training they work on classical metal cutting mechanisms. The aim of the project is to enable students to work on modern mechanisms, or on CNC machines. Within the subject engineering students learn about joints, transfers, and mechanisms. Within the subject of Technology students learn about the manual metal cutting: filing, cutting, straightening, bending, and later about casting, forging, rolling, welding. Another aim of the project is enable for the students to work with forms for forging, with forging dies, and to improve their welding work. Study field: kitchen and restaurant associate -to acquire knowledge, skills, and practice activities on the department of boarding in foreign companies designed for mess (common boarding facilities) -to learn about the basic functions of management in the field of management of boarding facilities, planning, organizing, HR, decision making, and control -to improve communicating skills, the professional vocabulary connected to gastronomy -to learn about the everyday working processes and to compare these processes with the experience at home -to help students to develop the professional profile, their creativity, their individual and team work -to initiate the self-education of students, to motivate students to learn, to study professional literature and the actual trends Activity nr. 2: Vocational training abroad of teachers Study field: Confectioner We would like to send a teacher (master of vocational education) for a vocational training in order to extend his theoretical knowledge from the field of confectioner in preparing desserts, which he can use later in his teaching process. The international experience helps the teacher to develop professionally, he will develop his communicating skills in a foreign language and in a foreign environment. He will have to solve problems at the workplace, to react on the given situations, to help trainees in their activities. These activities will help him to increase his confidence, his pedagogical and psychological skills, when communicating with students and with other professionals from his field. His international experience will help him to improve the teaching process at home, to communicate with students at home on a more professional level. Study field: mechanic of machines - to deepen the knowledge and practical skills from the field of metal cutting -to fix materials on the table -to set the parameters on the display of CNC machines -to work with the latest CNC machines -to put the prepared spare part on pallets - to keep the working environment clean and tidy -to work according to the regulations of OHS -to check the state of machines after finishing work -to maintain the machines -to put away all the tools and equipment of the operations Study field: kitchen and restaurant associate -to improve the knowledge and skills on the different departments of mess (common boarding facilities)
