Context and Origin of the ProjectWe realize that nowadays, it is a must for students (after finishing our school) to have a good knowledge of foreign languages. The knowledge of one or more foreign languages is one of the most crucial skills which can assure the students higher demand and competitiveness in the labour market, not only in our country but in Europe, too.That is the reason why we are making efforts to have a language education of high quality, which is dependent on qualified language teachers. The further systematic education of teachers is one of our priorities in the strategical plan of the school development. We are actively trying to take advantages of various opportunities for professional growth of our teachers. Aims of the projectThe aim of this project is a professional growth of teachers, improvement of their professional skills and competences in the field of language teaching.Thanks to this project, teachers can inform about present trends in the methodology of foreign languages and also about interesting forms of education which reflect the present changing world and related needs of today´s pupils and students. Thanks to this stay, the teachers will be able to tell the students about their personal experience from their stays abroad and they can also mention their authentic observation and thus motivate the students to be more interested in countries, people and geography, whose languages they study.The participation in a foreign mobility will be a great opportunity for our teachers, because they could improve their communication skills. The length of training course: 10 days.Destination: Germany 1xType of Educational Course: language- methodical course for teachersTerm: September-October 2016Destination: Great Britain 2xType of Educational Course: language- methodical course for teachersTerm: September-October 2016Methodology of the project realizationThe realization of the project, in the aspect of organization and administration, is realized by school coordinator who will closely cooperate with the participants of the mobility and headteacher of the school, as a statutory representative responsible for fullfilling of obligations resulting from the project. This team will also be responsible for running and final evaluation of the project and controlling the risks.Description of expected impacts of the project, possible long-term benefit- professional growth of teachers, improvement of their professional skills and competences in the field of language teaching.- introducing appealing forms of education which reflect needs of present students, individual educational needs included- increase in motivation of students to foreign languages- higher self confidence of teachers with the cooperation or international project with foreign partners.- higher quality of foreign language education at our school, as one of the crucial skills of today´s young generation needed for better future employment.- sharing gained experience with collegues. Participants will be bound by a contract that after the mobility, they will inform their collegues about development, results and experience.
