Combining cultural traditions of towns on the SK-HU border area Achievements: The main issue of the Slovak-Hungarian border region is the lack of social facilities between the towns on the two sides of the border. Isaszeg and Želiezovce have the potential to develop tourism opportunities and to enhance the attractiveness of the region through traditional cultural events. The project was designed with the aim to further develop the existing friendly relations between the inhabitants of both towns by organizing cultural events, music festivals, sport activities, camps for disadvantaged children and photo exhibitions. The project activities also strengthened the partnership relations and cooperation of the partners.
