Association "Hope" as the host organization invited to work with disabled youth like OZ Association Barlicka from Slovakia. We have already seen this partner in the implementation of other joint ventures. The main theme of action is to enable young people with disabilities to live independently in the community. Bilateral exchange "We'll do it alone anymore," aims to support independent living of young people with disabilities (physical and / or mental) of the Polish and Slovakia. The aim of the project is to reduce the marginalization of disabled young people, to encourage young people to attempt to self-realization, allowing to make independent decisions, increase knowledge of the capabilities of persons with disabilities to live independently in a democratic society. Participation in the project will build new friendships for mutual support and to foster creative problem solving related to independent decision-making. This will allow participants to acquire the skills to decide for themselves, overcoming communication barriers necessary for independent life. The exchange will take place on 07-16 September 2016 year Poland in the town of Stary Sacz in the resort Bedrock, adapted for disabled people. The exchange will be bilingual without the support of an interpreter. This will motivate participants to learn English. We are planning informational and educational presentations, work in the working groups, panel discussions, simulations of different situations that provoke will be to overcome shyness, facilitate decision-making. We expect the classes with the participation of the local community. Disabled youth will be supported by assistants. The project will be used various methods of informal and experimental, with emphasis on the ability to dialogue, working in collaboration and conversational language.
