Zooming out diversity is a voluntary service project, to welcome a european volunteer in the social farmer Asino chi legge, space of education, experimentation of new educational methodology and space of practice and promotion of authonomy and self development of youth with less opportunty at large and specially disable. The voluntary project is addressed to a youth that will be envolved in the organization for 4 months, with a 30/35 hours activity schedule per week. The project schedule include languages course, excursion and outdoor activity and the support from a tutor and mentor to ensure the quality of learning and volunteer need centred. The project is base of learning by doing methodology and the estabilishment of a learning agreement structured in long term goals and short term goals will be used to support the volunteer to drive his/her learning starting from his /her wills. The results and the impact of this project are different: On the volunteer a better understand of the diversity, the concept of empowerment and self confidence for him/herself and for the people with less opportunity od general difficulties. In the organization an added value thanks to the envolvement of the association community of a youth coming from a different culture, with different value, diffent way to do things. TO the local comunity, to incite the local youth to undertake similar experience like the european voluntary service and find in the educational mobility a valid tool to explore and grow.
