The project named „Make and pack. Relation of product , shape and graphic design“ covers activities realized between Stredná priemyselná škola from Svidník and its partners´ schools Krakowskie Szkoly Artystyczne in Krakow and Střední škola uměleckoprůmyslová in Ústí nad Orlicí . Both partner schools are art oriented as well as our school SPŠ in Svidník. SPŠ offers opportunities of the study of fashion, promotional, graphic and spatial design, as well as specialized study of modelling and clothes design and graphic of visual communications. Krakowskie Szkoly Artystyczne (KSA) in Krakow is the prestigious school not only in Poland but it provides higher level education in clothes design (Szkola Artystycznego Projektowania Ubioru), in art photography (Szkola Kreatywnej Fotografii), in visual merchandising (Szkola Vizual Merchandisingu), in interior design and architecture (Szkola Wnetrz i Przestrzeni), as well as in dramatic art (Szkola Aktorska). Střední škola uměleckoprůmyslová Ústí nad Orlicí offers a number of art study fields: fashion design, graphic design, interior design, shape and graphic design and photography and media. KSA in Krakow and SŠUP v Ústí nad Orlicí are the partner schools of the project. They will be responsible for professional preparation of the project participants and their professional growth. The project participants will be 20 students of SPŠ, Svidník who study fashion design, promotional graphic, graphic and spatial design, possibly graphic of visual communications. They will take part in the project in two rounds, each time in the number of 10 students and 1 supervising teacher from SPŠ Svidník. The first internship will focus on fashion design in content, on implementation of fashion accessories and their following usage within the interdisciplinary relations with visual merchandising and art photography. The first internship will focus on supporting of good educational practices since it follows the activities also carried out in our home conditions. However, the innovation of the education lies in new opportunities to implement some kinds of accessories, especially hats, for which we have no technical equipment at our school. The same applies to implementation of jewerly in their jewerly workshop. The second internship will consist of the students of promotional graphic mostly. It will be directed at shape and graphic design which will continuously follow the first internship by its content. The students´ goal will be to design, graphically edit and produce packaging made for accessories and jewerly made during the first internship. The students will use innovative methods and the Professional softwear ArtiosCAD (which our school does not own). They will also use a cutting plotter for cutting and shaping packaging material. All the mentioned activities are connected with the main goals of the project which are students´ training and the usage and mastery of achieved knowledge and skills during realization of product design of accessories and jewerly, their documentation, photo camera work, following graphic editing into complete graphic product – catalogue. The expected result of project activities are ready outputs in the form of fashion accessories (10 models), art and model photos, design of packaging, as well as videopresentations, catalogue, and photodocumentation of the internships running and of all their results. All the information will be published gradually in press and audiovisual media, on social network and on the school´s web page. The part of their subsequent presentation will also be fashion shows, competitions in clothes design, in art photography, as well as exhibitions in the school or in our town. Long-lasting contribution of the project can be found in achieved experiences and skills which will be used in further professional growth of our students. We suppose that even after graduating from our school, the students will have greater opportunity to assert themselves at work market in art agencies, clothes companies, but also at university study of art orientation. Last but not least the project is the asset in intercultural and language relations, as well. The young have opportunity to get to know different culture, nation and their traditions, history, to learn about cultural and historical landmarks and experience authentic atmosphere of Krakow. It is the opportunity to meet new people from Poland and foreign students and therefore gain language skills and verify them in real communication.
