ЖЕЛАНИЕ ЗА ПРОФЕСИОНАЛНА СРЕЩА С ЕВРОПЕЙСКИТЕ ХРАНИТЕЛНИ ВКУСОВЕ

At the project "Desire for vocational meeting with the European nourishing tastes" are pointed several themes. One of theme is : Prevention of the youth unemployment by vocational education and training of 20 students from Sofia`s Vocational High School for Tourism from 11th and 12 grade. They will make practice like "cooks" and"waiters" in elite German restaurants in Ludwigshafen and Mannheim in Germany. By the project they will take part in informal "job training" - at real working place. They will work under the cares of a tutor and an Employer and at the end of the practice they will be assessed by individual TESTIMONIAL CARD / 100 points / made by German educational system. The topics of assessments will be "Behaviour during work and training", "Objectivery competences", "Social competences". All this will be done by speaking German, English and other languages. In training period it will be used the acting approach "learning by doing". The other theme in the project is : Inter-cultural practice and training between the generations in the context of "Long Life Learning" Our partner is Vocational center "IUVENTAS", which has great experience in organizing European educational projects since 2005. We have made 3 projects with this partner. The partner institution works serious. The Principal and his collaborators use "pedagogical approaches" in the work with students. At weekends they organize cultural program which enrich the students in personal plan and present them cultural and historical places of interest in the region where they live and work. The Principals of the two institutions, helped by 4 German collaborators and 2 accompanied teachers will make monitoring of the students` work, will speak with the Employers and will mark the progress of the beneficent. The students will be accommodate in youth hostel with all necessary facilities. The goals of the projects are: 1. Improved perspectives of vocational realization - in Bulgaria and abroad / prevention of the youth unemployment/; 2. Rising the self-confidence in his/her opportunities by improved vocational competences and learning languages.; 3. Refinement of foreign language competences like a part of the professional success; 4. Increased of inter cultural knowledge of each individual; 5. Rising the motivation of participation in future in formal and informal education and training after the end of the foreign practice and after the end of the project. At the end of the project the beneficent will get the documents which will certificate their results from formal and informal education and training: 1. Certificate for level A1 in German language / European language frame/ - issued at Sofia`s Vocational High School for Tourism; 2. Certificate for participating at international practice in German restaurant - issued by IUVENTAS - Germany; 3. EUROPASS Mobility in Bulgarian and English languages - issued by both Partner Institutions; 4. TESTIMONIAL CARD with the acquired useful practice skills for the professions "cook" and "waiter" - issued by German Employer. Expected impact from the project : 1. Raised interest in German and other languages; 2. Forced desire for development of professional competences connected with the profession of the cook, waiter and restaurant; 3. Forced interest for "learning results" by future participating in formal and informal education and training; 4. Facilitation of the beneficent for work hiring in Bulgaria and abroad. For long lasting plan the expected benefits for the students are - Formation of modern and mobile labor force, based on fundamental skills at Sofia`s Vocational High School for Tourism and improved by making international practice in developed European state - Germany. By the project are made "interstitial steps" by the way towards permanent job and the young people are supported for finding their place at the labor market.
