The Green for Europe project was conceived in three main levels of objectives: to support the school's project management in the area of information and communication, to improve the language skills of teachers, and to innovate with modern English language teaching methods. In total, it consisted of 7 mobilities for 6 different courses. 1st mobility – English language course for C1 Advanced - Galway, Ireland Evaluation: The goals of the plan were exceeded; a higher language level (C1) course was completed and thus the objective of maximizing the development of language competencies was achieved 2nd mobility – the course Project Management for Cross-cultural Exchange Projects in Europe - Porto, Portugal Evaluation: The conference fulfilled the objectives of project management by giving a comprehensive insight into the field of project management. 3rd mobility – the course Primary Teachers – A Training Course for English Language Teachers - Cork, Ireland Evaluation: The acquired competencies in the language field were mainly in the areas of modernization of communication and vocabulary; new findings in methodology concerned the use of poetry in English at the 1st level, the use of music and film and the teaching of English based on storytelling. 4th and 5th mobilities – the course English Language Teaching Methodology for Non-Native English Language Teachers in Late Primary/Early Secondary Schools - Valletta, Malta Evaluation: Competencies were developed in the area of innovative English teaching methods: integration of ICT in education, creation of digital content, teaching pronunciation using situational context, creating dialogues and the foundations of CLIL methods 6th mobility – the course Drama Techniques for the English Language Classroom - Exeter, United Kingdom - Evaluation: The acquired skills were related to methodology using theater techniques during instruction: communication through play, experiments with language, combining imagination with the teaching of foreign languages, drama techniques for the development of communication, creating theatre plays, body language. Acquired techniques of the drama classes are a useful method for teaching not only artistically talented children, but also troubled children, socially disadvantaged and the disabled. 7th mobility – the course Refresher Course for Overseas Teachers of English, CLIL - Bournemouth, UK Evaluation: The acquired skills were focused primarily on CLIL methodology: planning, teaching strategies, cooperative methods, assessment, classroom language, storytelling, working with children with learning disabilities, development of school projects. This was a very comprehensive course in terms of the points of agenda covered, providing also the unique opportunity to teach and then consult on lessons in an English school. The objectives of the project have been met at all levels. In the area of project management, 3 eTwinning projects have been carried out and 2 operational programs have been successfully submitted. In the area of language competencies, there has been improvement in the areas of vocabulary, listening and communication. The outcome of modernizing teaching methods has resulted in the introduction of CLIL within 4th form classes as of the school year 2016/2017.
