A group of 90 students, who will be the students of Zespół Szkół Nr 3 w Łukowie in 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, and their 6 teachers are going to participate in the project. Taking into consideration the needs of both students and employers concerning developing skills, vocational qualification and improving language skills, intercultural, personal and social competence they will take part in four-week-long internships in international companies with advanced logistic, gastronomic and economic processing in Portsmouth in Great Britain. The choice of country and place of apprenticeship is made according to high job market standards and poor students’ professional experience.The main purpose of the project is improving the quality of vocational training through gaining knowledge and skills by 90 students studying in the field of gastronomy, logistics and economy in Zespół Szkół Nr 3 w Łukowie.The detailed aims are:-familiarize with functioning of modern European technologically advanced companies-using the acquired school knowledge, develop skills and competencies in new surroundings-improving cooperation skills in professional international team-developing the feeling of responsibility for the quality of work and for the organization of performed tasks in particular apprenticeship places-introducing the appropriate documentation used the firms in the field of gastronomy, logistics and economy-improving self-confidence through working in international environment, breaking professional language barriers and cultural differences-cross-cultural competences-personal development-multimedia presentations connected to the students’ occupations -electronic form of Vocational English dictionary with professional termsThe schedule of the apprenticeship is confirmed by trade employers, intermediary organization Traning Vision and is consistent with the school apprentice schedule. The selected partner has held a lot of mobility projects and has cooperated with partners all over Europe. Traning Vision chose the places of students’ apprenticeship so that the project’s aims are fully accomplished. The activity schedule was appropriately prepared and the tasks were allotted project partners. Implementation of the project will contribute to increase students’ professional and linguistic competences. It will enable to notice how to work in practice and gain experience in international environment. It will allow to introduce new technologies and devices and programs used in large companies. The position of the school will improve through increasing potential students appeal. British partner will improve the ability of apprenticeship implementation.
