The Business Academy (OA) is a secondary vocational school based in Topoľčany. The school has long-term experiences in the field of education and is focused on preparation of students for execution of specific economic activities OA tries to find a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills and supports the training in the real working environment. OA as the applicant organisation will organize learners mobility in cooperation with the partner organisation ADC College based in London. ADC College is a professional development and language tuition organisation. It has been involved in vocational and professional training for more than 20 years. The Aims:The aim of the project is to enable employees a professional training abroad and development of teaching skills. The participants will receive a tailored training in implementation of CLIL into non language school subjects. English lessons will enhance course experience and make employees more confident when using the English language during their vocational lessons. This professional and qualified staff will enhance the competitivenes of the school. The school becomes the place with the new and attractive learning environment and more tailored curriculum to specific needs of the students. Thanks to the project the participants will benefit not only professional but also personal growth . The project is also a motivation tool as the other employees will work more effectively to participate in a project.The number and profile of the participants:Altogether 5 teachers in June 2017, 3 English language teachers and 2 teachers of vocational subjects. All of them have some experience in managing previous Comenius now Erasmus+ projects Description of activities:Applicant organisation is responsible for:Language tution in the form of a course focused on Business English and speaking skillsOrganizing a lecture and a workshop about mobility and application of CLIL into non language subjects.Sharing and publishing the activity in press and school magazineSharing the teaching materials from the activity on school and edu page.Organizing a discussion for students and teachers involved in secondary vocational educationEvaluating the contribution of the activity via the questionnaire for the participants.Transport to and from LondonADC College is responsible for:Announcing the content of the courseTailoring the content of the course to a specific needs of the applicantOrganizing the accommodation in familiesMentoring and monitoring of the participants Issuing accredited Certificate
