The project is focused on three-week internship of 15 students of third and fourth year of study of the graduating fields of study business academy and tourism services, in Austria in the following numbers:(all students study English as a first foreign language and German language as a second foreign language):- 10 students in the field of study 6317 M Business Academy in the partnership with BüroJETZT,- 5 students in the field of study 6355 M Tourism Services in the partnership with ACCOR Hotelbetriebsges. m.b.H.After Slovakia joined the EU, increasingly higher demands are put on the quality of education, and the associated high interest in the professional workforce in all areas. This fact can be achieved in our case by the professional internships of our students in EU countries.The project aim is to promote and enhance the training of students, and to enhance their competencies and skills to be competitive in the domestic and European labor market.In addition, the project supports the improvement of language competencies of participants, not only at a general communication, but also the professional language skills.An important aim is also to make the students familiar with the multicultural environment of Austria, in order to understand it and to acquire and to establish international contacts. The internship enables pupils to acquire different attitudes and habits, that they would not have the opportunity to learn, to recognize responsibility for their actions in working in the area of interpersonal relationships, and thereby, create a positive perception and acceptance of the status of EU-citizens in the participants.Internship can prepare students for work in a team, to solve problems efficiently and professionalism in the commercial sphere.The main objectives in the context of personal as well as professional development of individual participants is that it will increase the self-esteem of pupils, increase motivation and interest in education, work in teams but also to be independent.The project will contribute to the raising of the profile of schools, to create space for the development of innovative practices in vocational education and training, making the school more attractive for new candidates for study.The project will also contribute to the promotion of the school, international cooperation and recognition of its graduates within the EU and beyond.All of the above aims, the main areas for improvement, which could have brought a change in the actual teaching, focuse on high expertise and foreign language skills, but also very professional experience abroad. Vocational teachers might incorporate the learned competencies into the actual teaching curricula.
