Project entitled "Foreign vocational internships in for students from Zespół Szkół im. Powstańców Wielkopolskich 1918-1919 in Krzyz Wlkp. in the period 01.06.2015- 01.06.2017. Within the project the internships in Germany will be completed for 48 technical school students(electricians). The diagnosis of the school offer and the needs of its students points out to the necessity for realization of vocational internships in order to reduce the problematic areas connected with preparation of students for doing the job of electrician. In opinion of principal, parents and teachers the system of practical training realized by the school requires support in order to intensify the practical preparation of students for doing a job. The employers who the school is currently cooperating with, are local firms which do not have modern infrastructure with low organization standards, so the local internships do not prepare students for working in modern economy companies, what show the the results of vocational exams, especially practical part. Students operate in social environment with low propensity to education, social pathology, poverty and unemployment. The objective of the project is to gain work experience in natural working conditions, in reliable organization systems featuring high European standards, operating modern work tools and infrastructure. These internships will contribute to the increasing the work qualification of the students, their personal development, development of language skills, increasing of their mobility and propensity to self-study. The promoter of the project is Zespół Szkół in Krzyz Wlkp. and the coordinator on behalf of the promoter is Andrzej Mikołajczak- teacher of the school. The host organization is Vitalis Betreuungsgesellchaft für Modellprojekte mbH , with responsible person Ralf Giesecke- President. The internships will take place in Germany separately for two groups, each group 24 students in the period of 09.04.2016- 23.04.2016 Group I, 15.04.2017-29.04.2017 Group II, all in specialization of electrician (electrical workshops at Gut Wehlitz) The curriculum of the internships is: - prepare electrical wiring in living quarters - installation of dashboard - arrangement of the electrical installation in living quarters - the structure and function of the receiving installation - installation of safety devices and switching devices - construction and incorporating of halogen lamps - control of the lighting in living quarters - construction of the fire sensor - construction of the fire sensor system - practical use of fire sensor for the detection of fire smoke - fault rectification in the installation of fire sensor - learning the construction of voltage testing device - working with voltage testing device The accommodation, catering and transportation during the stay is provided for all participants, leisure time arrangements, excursions to Berlin and Leipzig will be arranged, entrepreneurship course. The results of the project will have positive influence on the environment in which students operate. It will influence the attitudes of parents and of family members. The project will contribute to strengthening the international potential of both participating institutions, the knowledge and experience gained during the project allow to modernize the vocational training offer in Poland and Germany.
