Within this project 2 groups of 16 and 17 students and 4 teachers - counsellors from the Complex of Vocational Schools nr 1 in Kielce will take part in a trip to the Training Center BFW in Frankfurt on the Odra river as part of vocational training. The project will include 3rd class students from the Complex of Vocational Schools nr 1 in Kielce specializing in the following building field: mason plasterer. The partners of the project are: The Complex of Vocational Schools nr 1 in Kielce as a Beneficiary, and the Company of Vocational Training Promotion of the Berlin Brandenburg Building Industry Union in Potsdam as a Partner. The aim of the project is to revive the activity in the building field and other fields concerning building industry. The project aims to develop both the vocational skills of the participants gaining workshop experience abroad, and personal and language skills. It also aims to broaden the participants’ horizons and become familiar with working conditions in Germany. While staying in Germany the participants will gain both vocational and intercultural competences, as well as knowledge and skills which will help them to develop their career in the future. All skills and abilities will be developed during vocational training in accordance with German methodology, under the supervision of experienced teachers - instructors. The participants will have a chance to know different cultural and language environment. Before the training the participants will take part in 60 lessons on language, culture and education. They will learn vocational vocabulary in German. The partner group agreed on 14-day training and decided about the curriculum content, taking into consideration both the students’ abilities and the core curriculum content. The trip has been planned for May 2016. The training will take place in a specialized Center of Vocational Training in Frankfurt on the Odra river. The training is integrally associated with the students’ Polish educational path. Observations will be constantly made during the training and documentation such as tests, reports photos of courses, exercises and workshops will be carried out. Progress during the project implementation will be assessed systematically through reports, surveys, questionnaires, notes carried out by the Project Team and the Coordinator. If any problems occur, corrective action will be taken immediately. Surveys and diagnostic tests testing the participants’ knowledge will help to conduct the project evaluation. The following people will be engaged in the evaluation of the project: the Project Coordinator, the Project Team, teachers responsible for language, educational and cultural training, and on the Partners’ part : the BFW President, Manager, Instructors from the BFW Center. After completing the Project the results and their influence on the participants will be monitored for one year in order to test the impact of foreign training on their comprehensive development. Will they be able to use gained knowledge? Our school would like to establish a long-term cooperation with the partner institution in order to do other common projects in the future.
