„Together in the Future of Technology and Business” is a European project of the Vocational School for Industrial Technologies, Management and Tourism, Panagyurishte. The partner organization of this project is ADC College, based in the central part of London in the United Kingdom. Both schools have a long experience in the field of information technology and business administration. The project provides a real opportunity to significant increase of the number of students who can participate in work experience abroad thanks to the European Union. The partner organization provides us highly motivated team that tries to reduce the tension associated with the European economy and to improve intercultural communication, namely to help our students to refer to the differences between professional skills in the work environment. The project is short and will be implemented within one year through online learning and participation of students in practical training in order to exchange best practices. The training will be held in two professional fields: Information Technology and Media and Business Administration. The main objectives of the project are: • Enhancing language learning in various forms; • Developing programs and strategies to motivate students in their development as professionals - each in his field - IT and Media and Business Administration; • Sustainable development of the school as a center for the creation of well-trained personnel needed for ever - dynamic economy, not only in the municipality of Panagyurishte, but also at national and European level; • Research and analysis of the interests of future students of the school in relation to their chosen fields and professions; • Development and participation in other European projects to motivate students and to bring additional resources to the school; • To enhance the work experience in reliable partner-companies; • Use the opportunities for innovation in the teacher’s work; • Teacher’s participation in professional qualifications for getting effectiveness in their work; • Developing strategies for the place and development of the school as a desirable area for students and education professional center in Panagyurishte municipality; In this work experience 15 students are going to be involved, who will be accompanied by two leaders in order to organize a successful organization of the planned activities. Learners are aged between 15 and 19 years and they are beginners in the field of New Technologies. Ten of them are enrolled in a training course and practice in Information technology and Media, and five students are interested in participating in practical training in Business Administration. Skills to speak fluent English need improvement so that may be realized in a real and practical environment. In the first week both specialities will be included in the general English language course preparation. In the second and third week, students from the field „IT and Media” will be engaged in activities related to Economic Informatics and Computer Technology: • use highly intelligent technologies and software • work with modern softwares • application in specific activities and areas • detection and removing of technical problems • peripherals, allowing deeper penetration in computer systems and technologies For the period from the second week to the end of the training, participants in the field of Business Administration will be engaged in the following activities: • modeling and predicting management • budget management • making decisions and taking risks • business games in management • business communications and correspondence The successful implementation of the project will use modern and contemporary educational methods and approaches that will facilitate the management of this and other projects. Flexible methodology that uses the basic rules for making softwares and getting feedback. Applying interactive methods will encourage fast and flexible response to changes. Methods for the study of information systems are empirical (observation, comparison, experimentation, questionnaires, interviews and testing) and empirical - theoretical (analysis and synthesis, modeling, etc.). As a final result, participants will receive a certificate of participation - they will have greater opportunities to realize themselves on the local and national labor market, thanks to the knowledge, skills and competencies that will raise their authority and that of the school. VET learning project aims positive implementation to our partners at local, regional, national, European and international level, we can create subsequent relationship with new partners that will lead to improve the mobility and the potential long-term benefits. Creating new jobs in companies-partners and opportunities for development of Information technologies and business are our long-term goals.
