"From The Polish Countryside to Europe - tourism, hospitality and gastronomy in a European dimension "- is a project of a small vocational school located in a village numbering about 2500 inhabitants. The main objectives established are as follows: - learning methods of promotion of tourism values of different parts of Europe; - observation of the functioning of the European hospitality in the context of different cultures and nationalities; - broadening the knowledge of tourism and geography teachers in European countries; - communication in a foreign language and learning basic vocabulary of the host countries; - knowing the cuisine of different nations and their culinary traditions; - establishing cooperation between the other participants on the methods, tools, education and apprenticeships for students; - creating a common - together with the organizer and other participants - "The General Chain Book" - a virtual book - guidance document of good practices and exchange of tourist industry teachers. Organization plans two actions (mobility) in the first - seven, in the second - nine participants. All participants are teachers with higher and further postgraduate education. Each educates students in the tourism industry. They are teachers of hospitality and tourist services, gastronomy, geography, and foreign language training. They are well prepared to transfer the knowledge of the core curriculum. Therefore, the most important is the need to increase their professional competence in the international dimension, communication in a foreign language training, getting to know ways to promote tourism in different countries, the impact of the geographical shape on the tourism industry and the association of teachers with the culture of other nations, learning their traditions, customs and cuisine are very important for tourism industry professionals. Operation 1 In the first operation, the group of seven teachers of vocational subjects connected with the tourist industry will participate in training concerning the factors that influence the shaping of culture and tourism in Spain, as the close proximity to the Atlantic, the Mediterranean and Africa, affected trade, tourism and culinary traditions, as the both coast: European and African clashed over the years, shaping the cultures of Spanish, Portuguese and the other bordering countries . There will also be discussed subjects such as geography and tourism, two-and multilingualism in the tourism industry, the hospitality and travel agencies not only in the context of European but also intercontinental, catering - the traditions of Spanish and African influences on the menu at the hotel's restaurants of Spain as well as European flavors in the kitchen on the other side of Gibraltar. Operation 2 In the second operation, the group of nine teachers of vocational subjects connected with the tourist industry will participate in a course in the north of Europe, which will allow them to understand and get to know the influence of the Vikings, the Hanseatic League as well as Russia on the development of the tourism industry in the Nordic region, how this area of multilingualism in Europe influenced the culture, identity, nation, and how they determined the directions of the development of tourism, hospitality and gastronomy. The wide cross-section of traditions and cultures will allow participants to understand the complexity of the tourism industry in depending on the country, its geographical location, the impact of foreign elements, access to the sea, the ocean and the number of factors unknown to participants which are important in the establishment of enterprise in this industry. It is expected that thanks to the project "From The Polish Countryside to Europe" will acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes in the following areas: - The influence of national culture on the hotel and restaurant services in the countries of Europe; - Configuration of terrain and environmental protection due to tourism development; - Traditions, customs and ceremonies in the tourism and hospitality; - Opportunities and threats for the development of the tourist industry in Europe - Practical use of a foreign language ; - Knowing the opportunities for organizing student professional practices or placements. The knowledge acquired from other participants in the field of training system of vocational education in different countries, the possibilities of employment of graduates, staff exchanges, cooperation with schools having similar fields of education, etc. will also be important. We assume long-term effects of the project such as cooperation with schools or any other organizations of similar training profile in the sphere of organizing professional practices, exchanging experiences and partnership visits.
