The EVS volunteers will join innovative training courses to empower civil engagement and media competences of youth at Youth4Media in the Community Centre Bennohaus. The EVS volunteers will aquire skills and knowledge how to engage young people in creative media design and encourage their corporate citizenship. They will act as a media reporter about issues like active citizenship, sustainable development and inclusion of young refugees. These new skills are important key competences and will intensely improve the employability of the youth. Volunteers will be acknowledged by a certificate (Youthpass) which makes the non-formal qualifications transparent. The volunteering in Münster (DE) have a good impact on volunteers future career. The volunteer will take part in our qualification courses that are containing Video Journalism, Online Journalism and Trainer Competences. The EVS volunteers will get good practice while working with other young volunteers in one of the editorial groups of institution. They will be enabled to train youth and to initiate public discussions and journalistic reports made by youth about civil society engagement, democracy, inclusion of young refugees and cooperation in the EU. Their media reports will be disseminated via web-TV (www.youth4media.com). Furthermore the volunteers will get a deep insight into the field of project management. This will also improve the cooperation and communication between our European network members and young volunteers engaged in NGOs and youth organisations all over Europe.
