Two volunteers from Latvia will work together in two short term projects with local and long-term EVS volunteers in order to help in the everyday work of the environmental programme of the municipality of Xilokastro in Greece to protect forest, project includes helping to protect the forest of Xilokastro, protect the coast, planting new trees, building and repairing the footpath in the forest. The second project is in NGO Orfeas to protect Europe common heritage of building musical instruments- traditional Greek and Mediterranean instruments, preserve the common European heritage of the history, and to study the development of the methods/techniques in Europe from the middle age till now.Volunteers will expand solidaritity between youth of Europe, gain nonformal education, interculture learning, personal development.
