Youth for Social Innovation, is a 9 working days Training for young people (peer leaders) from EU and neighbouring counties whom themselves and their peers are at risk from unemployment and marginalisation. The training will be held in Moldova where 24 participants with congregate from Denmark, Moldova, Ukraine and Romania.The Training theme is youth social innovation. The aim of the training is to encourage young people and their peers to take responsibility for their social environment, to create employment opportunities and at the same time tackle social issues through innovation and entrepreneurship. The objectives of this training are as follows:1. Promote peer-to-peer learning2. Encourage participants to be socially aware3. Provide participants with tools, knowledge and attitudes to have an innovative approach to tackling social problems.4. Provide participants with tools, knowledge and attitudes for entrepreneurial social ventures5. Promote European social innovationThese will be achieved by offering the participants a non-formal learning programme that will encourage reflection and peer-to-peer learning, and also give a step by step guide on how to be innovative in tackling social issues. At each step there will be a practical approach where the participants learn through doing.
