The Youth for Hope project will be mainly aimed at social work with the Roma orphan children of the Varna orphanage Knyaginya Nadezhda. The two volunteers from Germany and Poland will work with the children in their free from school activities time, will lead art-workshops, sports games and events, conversation classes in English. The volunteers will acquaint the children with the culture of their countries and will inform them about the lifestyles of young people there. The project will hold an exhibition of the childrens works in a public building, a grafitti fest and a baseball fest. Other tasks of the volunteers include: animation of the ill children in the pediatric and oncohematological department, St Marina, Varna, where our Foundation has created two playrooms for the children, involvement in the eco-awareness, healthy lifestyle and active citizenship campaigns of the Dolphins youth non-formal group, cooperation with the Foundation in project development, partner search and contacts, realization of project ideas and promotion of the Youth in Action program in wider contexts and through the social networks. The project will upgrade the quality of life of the young people in the social institution, improving their English communication skills, enlarging their general knowledge about the Europaen institutions, culture and lifestyle and animating their free time with useful and funny activities.
