Youth Exchange "Connect and Improvise"

SYC will host the youth exchange “Connect and Improvise” which will connect 32 youngsters from Armenia, Georgia, Slovakia and Hungary to provide space for young people to use improvisation, creativity and arts to discuss social issues and multiculturism in Europe. Creative artistic environment will reflect the views, voices and opinions of youngsters on current social and cultural situation and issues in Europe. Half of the participants from each group will be underserved, disadavantaged youth including social, economical, cultural disadvantages, rural youth. The project will take place in Stepanavan, Armenia. The eight days of the youth exchange will empower youngsters with disadvantaged and "privileged" backgrounds to discuss social challenges they see in their societies in an inspiring and relaxed environment. They will organize an IMPRO event for children in Zangak Social Center passing the newly acquired skills (e.g. in improvisation theatre, dancing, photography or any other tool selected by the group) to local kids. The YE will be focused on European citizenship and active youth participation and on enlarging capacity and role of young people in tolerance and inclusion.
