NGO Calamus will organise a two-activity project: „Youth empowerment through peer and self development methods “ in winter 2015 and spring 2016, in Belgrade, Serbia. It contains two training courses, in which the participants will gain knowledge about: - Coaching and using its techniques when working with people with fewer opportunities in their local community; learn how to build personal capacities when encountering problems and obstacles in the various challenges in their everyday life, and how to support other young people by coaching them when they are facing changes and setting personal goals.- Mediation and skills such as listening, critical thinking and problem solving, which can be used in solving their own conflicts as well as the problems of their peers. Participants will be empowered to assume greater responsibility when resolving conflict and using effective communication.This training is aimed for 30 youth workers, peer educators and project managers who are interested in using coaching and mediation techniques among peers in their local community.
