Youth Empowerment and self Entrepreneurship

The project is based on the need to network the different realities of youth workers to develop skills in working with young unemployed people with whom to work in terms of the development of skills related to the world of new professional profiles of 'self-employment in the areas of strategic development of the European economy, with particular reference to the tourism sector and promotion of the areas. Both the association Treasures of Etruria, co-ordinator of the project, that the European partners intend to give it life, thanks to the project "YES US Youth Entrepreneurship and Self Empowerment," a veritable platform for exchange and training involving actors in the field of youth in order to create new opportunities for youth employment, working to combat the mismatch, stimulate and educate to self and self-awareness, and the development of skills in the ICT sector. The project YES US involve a particularly high number of partners: 4 international delegations that span a considerable part of Europe, giving the project a deep breath European, specifically Italy (with co-ordinating role), Czech Republic, Portugal and Poland for a total of 20 teachers aged between 18 and 45 years. The project has a duration of 8 months starting from June 1, 2015 al 1 February 2016 while the planned activities will be held at the headquarters of the Association Treasures of Etruria, in Castiglione in Teverina (VT) in November 2015 and will consist of moments of interactive training particularly characterized by a high degree of participation by youth workers: a week of workshops, educational workshops, seminars and outdoor activities with particular reference to the thematic areas of lifelong guidance, like the development of skills and of self. The methods used during the activities will be inspired by the most innovative techniques of non-formal learning: so much for the icebreaking activities for the roundtable discussion and monitoring, peer education with the support of facilitators and role games will be learning methods selected. Comparison between peers, and learning by doing practical work will ensure the effectiveness of the training during the implementation of seminars, workshops, educational workshops and outdoor activities. You will also finally experienced the innovative method Café World, known for the ability to allow an intense intercultural and interpersonal contact in order to facilitate the sharing of good practice. The impact will be vast and widespread due to the high number of participants and of the European countries involved in the various territories multiplied thanks to the work of the youth workes of dissemination of the results and of the skills learned with a view to follow up the project. Participants will receive a certificate Youthpass and Europass Mobility in order to validate and recognize the experience. The creation of a permanent network and rooted association engaged in the field of education and youth training will certainly be a long-term benefit that will deepen the cooperation between European civil society.
