Youth breaks the limits in Europe

The project targets the Housing Authority in North Jutland, social and health Nord's basic package PRACTICES, a 30-week practical course with 2 x 4-week business stay. Students are mixed in terms of educational background. Students come from both the 9th and 10th grade and upper secondary school education or equivalent. The school has applied for a mobility to the 30 students in 4-week internship, which is scheduled accompanying teachers at the beginning of the four-week mobility. The partners have all been from the school's network of European partners with experience in cooperation on mobility, which have different approaches and traditions in educational work and care for the elderly as well as activity with public and private actors. During the project, the school has expanded with two smaller partner organizations, which the school uses for posting pupils under PIU. . The expectation has been to give students in the project the opportunity to supplement the internship developing both the professional and personal skills. Expectations for accompanying teachers have been offering knowledge and knowledge of how partners are working with learning both theoretical and practical, as well as to establish networks of partner organizations in order to strengthen future international cooperation between partner organizations in general. The stay for the individual student meant both professional and personal development. In the academic significantly to increased understanding of their own professionalism when it is experienced in an international context. The personal skills have been challenged especially for the young students, some of whom it was the first time that they had to travel, live and work in another country, without family and friends, and not least having to perform in academic contexts new colleagues and in a foreign language and orient themselves in a different working ect. The school's dividend has directed especially at accompanying teachers increased knowledge of the host countries' education and practice field, and cooperation has developed into a mutual cooperation mobility for both students and teachers. In addition, participation in the project increased teachers' focus on internationalization in teaching and in general the school. The project has also contributed to an increased interest among teachers to participate in skills development with partners abroad.
