Youth and Politics: Opportunities. Problems. Perspectives.

The project "Youth and Politics: Opportunities. Problems. Perspectives." will be implemented in the first half of 2016 with the cooperation of the Youth Organization of Ida Noored (Estonia), Naujoji Vilnia Culture Center (Lithuania), NGO Youth of Democratic Alliance (Ukraine), The Association of Russian-speaking youth in Germany JunOst (Germany), National non -governmental youth organization Civil Forum (Belarus), "New Generation" Humanitarian NGO (Armenia), non-governmental organization "Culture. Tolerance. Friendship." (Latvia).The authors and organizers of this project is a group of young people who took part in the project, which took place in Estonia in April 2015 on the theme of participation in the elections. Having some knowledge and experience in the electoral systems of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, these young people have worked on a team with other kids on writing the project.Affected objectives of the project and international youth exchanges are closely related to the priorities of the program Erasmus + in order of civil society. For participants is given the opportunity to meet in an informal environment with the features and characteristics of civil society represented in the project countries, to form their understanding of the concept of "European citizenship", to share this with the indirect audience in their country. So, the path to a unified system of values that characterize European society and European citizens. As the project focuses on the development of intercultural understanding according to European trend, it promotes dialogue between young people come from different countries and from different cultural backgrounds, their cooperation in finding common values, ideals, aspirations, and similarity. Youth Exchanges give the opportunity for young people to form an understanding of the important foundations of European policy as cultural diversity and sense of community. Involvement of young people with fewer opportunities from participating countries, as well as providing a platform for them to conduct equal dialogue and free expression in favorable conditions in practice shows the relationship of the project with the values of Europe.
