Youth Act!TC leaders of local volunteer activities

“Youth Act!” is training course for leaders of local volunteering activities. The aim of this training course is to encourage and educate young people to take active role in society, and to try out ideas through implementing local volunteering initiatives. The main objective is to provide a non formal learning and exchange of experience between young leaders how to stimulate young peoples’ creativity, entrepreneurial skills and initiative with the aim to move society towards positive changes and initiate process of awareness for European citizenship and active participation. Youth Cultural Center - Bitola as hosting organization, from 13 – 21. 10. 2011in Bitola, FYR Macedonia, will bring together 42 young people from seven Program (Sweden, Portugal, Estonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece, Spain) and six SEE countries (FYR Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Albania, Croatia and Montenegro), coming from organizations that activate youth on local level. They will give contribution in realization of the European Year for Volunteering 2011 program by implementing local youth volunteering initiatives.The approach will be multi leveled, learning by doing, group work, sharing of experience and feelings, taking action arising from reflection and intercultural communication. We will present dynamic and flexible programme and methodology based on needs assessment, self directed and experiential learning.
