"Young photojournalist in the great Castle"

"Young photojournalist in the great Castle" is a project of Polish-Hungarian-Ukrainian youth meeting, that will focus on cultural attractions discovery in the former Duchy Olesnicki using photographer and journalist prospective, and transfer of received knowledge to a general public. Adolescence is a key to professional development of young people, according to the report "Youth of Lower Silesia" of December 2013 prepared by the Lower Silesian Council for Youth. In this age ability to explore passions and interests, own potential and strength, learning skills and teamwork skills are formed. It has strong connection with educational labor market, especially non-formal education, which provides skills highly requested by employers: self-reliance, creativity, collaboration skills. There is a strong necessity to support the activity of young people, to assist in the local and school activities implementation, as well as involve their peers into action. The project aims to draw attention to the young people to importance of history and cultural heritage knowledge and awareness rising. The youth will promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and alternative ways of spending free time by participating in outdoor activities. The goal of the project is promotion of historical places in the local and European community. The project also targets solidarity development and tolerance promotion among young people, as well as mutual understanding between young people of three countries deepening. The initiator of the project is the youth Center the Education Voluntary Labor Corps OHP resident prince's castle in Oleśnica, whose interest is focused on the history, traditions and culture. The purpose of their activities is mainly maintaining the cultural heritage beauty and local history of the region Duchy Oleśnicki discovery. The project invited youth leaders from Ukraine and Hungary, whose passion is showplaces, ancient legends and history discovery. The participants are motivated people interested in sharing of knowledge and experience, ready to cooperate in an international team. The project will be attended by 30 people in total from the three countries, 10 people from each country, including participants and leaders. Polish-Ukrainian-Hungarian youth meeting will take place at the former Duchy Oleśnicki territory. The project scheduled photography and journalism workshops in order to improve different skills of young people in the very beginning of their careers. During the course the most important techniques and methods, as cropping and working with light will be explained. Various photography and outdoor activities will help to find out different cultural aspects and ethnic customs. Organized activities also will show different ways of free time organizing and will increase interest to history and beauty of Duchy Olesnicki and other small towns, which could be attractive also for European community. Outdoor activities will be combined with quests and games. Received photos and videos will be used for creation general trilingual album of Duchy Olesnicki, multimedia presentations. Games, national cultural evenings, language lessons and ancient dances workshops are scheduled for better integration, creation friendly atmosphere and improving personal relationships between participants. The project will develop the ability to work in an international environment, which will affect on future cooperation between European youth. In conclusion of the project film will be created and published on website. Also exhibition of participants' works will be organized; representatives of local authority as well as local community will be invited. In addition, the goal of the project is increasing of interest to local and European historical places.
