You(th) to know is an Erasmus+ European Voluntary Service Project. Isanbul Arel University is the coordinating and sedning organisation within the project. Receiving/Hosting organisations are from Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. Project application form was prepared to submit to Turkish National Agency.
Our main goal to prepare this project application is to include our young people with fewer opportunities in international voluntary activities. By this project our young people will come together with other young people from abroad especially young people from Europe and this will help them to have the idea of European and Global citizenship. Within this framework we wanted to apply this project and include our young people in EVS activities.
There are long term EVS activity and short term activities planned for 29 volunteer in total. 23 volunteers will be included in short term activities and 6 for long term.
Our activities are aiming directly to include volunteers in it. Non-formal, formal and informal learning styles are combined in the activities but main focus will be non-formal and experimental learning.
Within the project, our activiy plan is like;
- Sumy, Ukraine will host 2 volunteers for each months; 8 volunteers in total will be included. Activities will take place on June to September 2015
-Baia Mare, Romania will host 2 volunteers for each 2 months; 12 volunteers in total during the one year starting from June 2015
-Cricova, Moldova will host 1 volunteers every months in the summer 2015 and on September 2 volunteers will be attending 6 months EVS project.
-Iasi, Romanya will host 4 volunteers in the same time for 6 months starting on September, 2015.
Our main target group is young people with fewer opportunities and our activities are designed to include these youth group. In the end of activities these young people with fewer opportunities will develop theirselves in social and cultural way. Their employability will be developed as well as they are going to develop their personal and social skills.
Our project aims to create international mobility and mobility awareness within the young people in short term and in long term we are aiming to contribute youth participation.
