You(th) for a better future! is a Youth Exchange that involves 24 participants 18-30 mixing active volunteers and unemployed youngsters that needs to be activated with the support of 6 group leaders without age limit and a facilitator from our organization. They will come from 6 program countries: Italy, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Czech RepublicThe project was born to address the need to youngsters to acquire more essential skills and motivation for their development than is offered in the formal education system. The project focuses on 3 main areas of development for young people: body, mind and soul. The 3topics are tackled through non formal methods which require full involvement of the participants.The project will start by addressing issues of the body, appearance, then smoothly passing to communication skills, time management and life management skills. The soul will not be forgotten, participants will discover about their personal culture and how to meditate and the advantages of regularly practicing mind relaxation as well how to connect with the nature through outdoor activities. The picture would not be complete, if we would not address the issues of how to contribute to community development with active participation.The project goal is to empower youngsters with tools and competences that will help them on a long term to better integrate into the society, to have better social abilities and improved career prospects. The objectives are:1. Increase the motivation, social and personal abilities and the level of knowledge about life management and future planning for youngsters coming from rural areas and backgrounds, mixed with active volunteers in order to enhance the peer-to-peer learning2. Increase the chances of getting a job and maintaining it by offering essential knowledge in the fields of personal development, self care, self improvement, flexibility of the job market, stress management and communication for the participants3. Raise awareness on the importance of volunteering and lifelong education in improving the career prospects on a long term for the participants and providing learning opportunities4. Promote Erasmus+ principles and educational opportunities for young people, giving a chance of design and implement their own project, with a good impact on their participation and job-related skills.4. Promote healthy and sustainable behaviours among participants through specific workshops that tackle sports, healthy eating, healthy and sustainable habits
