A project called You(th) and Non-Formal Education are the Best! is a 9 days Mobility of youth workers - Key Action 1 (KA1) of Erasmus+ programme. This activity will gather 35 participants - youth leaders and youth workers, coming from 13 European countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine)). Project application is being submitted by Group of young peope active in youth work called EPYG - Euro-project youth group on behalf of the partner network of youth organisations active in the youth work in the region of Snina town in eastern Slovakia. The project deals with an issue of improving the quality of the non-formal education processes in the youth work field, exchanging the best practices, increasing the competences and skills of youth leaders and workers. The priority for this project is a youth work and increasing its quality level, increasing the educational approaches and methods, increasing the effectivity of creating and using the project outcomes and results and their application into the practice. The objectives of the project are: * to exchange of the best practices in the field of youth work, to strengthen the exchange of experiences and competences within the youth organisations * to implement, develop and support the non-formal education methods, their meaning in the education process and in a life of young people * to analyze the role of NFE and to distinguish the differences in the formal, informal and non-formal education within the common Europe * to support intercultural learning, analyse of intercultural diversity at international level - emphasize of cultural traditions and habbits in different countries * to explore the possibilities of Erasmus+ Programme and analyze the role and perception of non-formal education (including the key competences of Youhpass certificate) * to increase the communication and presentation skills of youth workers in order to implement non-formal methods in an efficient way * to encourage young people to use outdoor activities as a tool of non-formal learning process The impact and benefits planned in the project reside in definition, analysis and gathering of the best practices in wprking and educative processes in the field of youth work. An improvement of skills and competences of youth leaders and workers will offer a more qualitative and effective background for the youth work field at regional, national and international level, an increase of youth participation and an increase of awareness about the opportunities offerred by European non-formal education programmes as Erasmus+.
