The project You(th)4Europe was a multilateral youth exchange conceived and realized with the efforts of young people from 8 countries : Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania and Italy. The theme of the project, discussed and chosen by all groups of participants is You(th) 4 Europe. The main aim of the project was to offer young people the opportunity to know more about European Union, EU countries, EU values, EU institutions and what are the institutions doing for young people. And which was realized through the following main objectives: 1. Provide an informal space where young people can learn through the non formal methods the backgrounds of the main European institutions 2. Stimulate the thinking of the youth role in EU and in their local communities 3. Improve digital skills and competences of young people and practical application 4. Discover and become aware of different cultures and realities and foster cultural understanding among young people The 40 young people and their leaders for 9 days were involved in a variety of activities that has as main aim to increase the knowledge on Europe and EU institutions, EU Citizenship, to sensitize young people to the value-problem of a United Europe and to spread among young people the ideal of a United Europe in the service of peace and solidarity between people , by developing in them the civic competence necessary to participate in active and democratic civic life and become agents of social change. In this context, groups of young people and young people with fewer opportunities from 8 different counties ( Italy, Spain, Turkey, Croatia, Czech, Bulgaria, Romania , Slovakia ) met in Italy to learn more about European Union, its bodies and importance, about rights and duties of a citizen of Europe, to increase a foster cooperation and communication between the youth from the five countries. Moreover, the activities were done in teams, that is why the youth had to learn to work together in a culturally diverse teams. At work we used the methods of non-formal education: brainstorming, learning by doing, teamwork, working in small groups, workshop, interactive methods, role SALTO games, simulations, discussions, evaluation and self-esteem, creative activities.
