“Yes I Am: Immigrant in EU- YIA”
Start date: Jan 15, 2012,

The youth exchange “Yes I am: Immigrant in Europe - YIA” in a period of 6 days will gather 40 people (leaders and youngsters) coming from EU member and SEE countries. The city of Skopje will be welcoming the participants and shortly afterwards (i.e. after 2 days), the rest of the project will be completed in Struga. Our project will be supported and organized together with 7 other NGO’s. The main aim will be exchanging facts, experience and knowledge between the participants, presenting the current situation with the immigration process in them countries. In order to enrich the learning process there will be open debates and discussions for the social exclusion of national and ethnic minorities. Therefore, every group should include at least one member of a national minority permanently living in the country. This will follow the given objectives and will directly involve the minorities and majorities in the youth exchange. The meetings organized in several embassies in Skopje (Holland, Bulgarian and Polish) will expose the current situation in Macedonia towards the immigrational process. This project will strongly support the possible ways of promoting the voluntary work as a tool for improving and exploring the benefits for better life in your own country.
