Start date: Sep 8, 2016, End date: Sep 7, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

It is foreseen that the number of vehicles produced throughout the world to be about 100 million and 30 million of these vehicles will be Hybrid vehicles in 2020. By establishing gradually the service stations essential for maintenance, repair and charging and setting up required substructure, it is foreseen that all vehicles will be equipped with hybrid technology. According to the latest data of Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), 18 million 148 thousand 386 registered car is driven out in the traffic in our country. Having a large automobile market and at the same time being in a fully dependent position to the foreign countries for petroleum, in Turkey, usage of the alternative energy sources in transportation sector will provide energy saving and support our economic growth. Besides air pollution will decrease significantly and the negative effects of global warming will be considerably prevented. Our project will be a significant step in terms of training qualified human resource for meeting the basic needs of maintenance, repair and charging of next-generation vehicles, as well as of supporting the substructure works regarding the hybrid technologies our country to have accelerate. Within the scope of required substructure works for transportation vehicles having hybrid technology, stations for maintenance, repair and charging units are going to be set and in these stations there will be need for technical specialists who has the training level of meeting the consumers’ requests. In 20 years, as a result of the vehicles having the hybrid technology which is going to take respectable place in the motor vehicles market, using electric instead of fossil fuels, there will be an inevitable increase of the demanded power amount from the electrical distribution system. In order to train qualified technical personal being well-informed about the working of hybrid vehicle components, the controls of the convenience and the maintenance of power electronic circuits, the practical trainings should be put into practice in the vocational high schools which provides training on the field of electric electronic and motor vehicles technologies. Although the hybrid vehicles are going to be used widely in the near future, our country hasn’t professionals who can set up the substructure for these vehicles. The practical training and observations our participants are going to take abroad for 2 weeks on Hybrid Technology is going to be carried out at the Střední škola Automobilní a Informatiky Institution in the capital city Prague in Czech Republic. Our mobility is inclusive for our teachers who are providing training in the departments of Electric and Electronics and Motor Vehicles and Technologies of Küçük Yalı Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi (Küçük Yalı Vocational and Technical High School). For our participants, the requirement of having practical training and making observation at an institute that have laid the foundations of these studies on hybrid technology and is experienced internationally. Our participants who are going to travel to Czech Republic for 2 weeks of practical training and observation are going to fulfill their flows as two-mobility. 6 teachers are going to participate for each mobility flow and in total of 12 teachers are going to complete their overseas activities.
