Project was realized by Bona Fides Assosiation (Katowice, Poland) in cooperation with Citizens UK (London, Great Britain) since July 2014 to June 2016. Bona Fides Civil Activity Assosociation is the only organization in Poland which is using community organizing method with local communities, however Citizens UK is the most experienced organization in Europe in community organizing. This project was response for Bona Fides need which was promote and improve community organizing method all over the country. Main aim of this project was development of community organizing by increase knowledge of project beneficiary with community organizing method especially how to create and develop network of community organizinizations on a country level.Direct participants of this project were group of community organizing Bona Fides staff. Indirect group of beneficients were group of 150 inhabitants of Katowice which are interested in activities connected with local communities. Indirect beneficiary was also community organiser staff from Fundacja Pozytywnych Zmian from Bielsko- Biała and members of 2 community groups from this city (50 inhabitants). Additional beneficiary were group of 14 people who took part in pilot training of CO method. During the project were realized 2 mobilities to Great Britan ( October 2014, May 2015). During the first mobility participants of the project took part In job training prepared by Citizens UK. During this training 3 community organizers (Bona Fides Staff) got acquainted with tools and techniques using in CO method, especially knowledge how to keep social campaign, how to exert pressure on policy makers and how to create development of community groups strategy. This training was realized since 19.10.2014 to 25.10.2014. This knowledge helped us to create new elements which we initiated in our daily work with local groups. We improved our method connected with accountability session technique, solving conflict in groups, how to work with local liders. During 2 mobility community organizing staff with volunteer were took part in job- shadowing. During this mobility participants had to increase knowledge of create a network local community work. This activity focused on watching work headquarters of Citizens UK. After this mobility CO Staff Bona Fides created 3 strategies about promotion, network and media contact and cooperation with volunteers. During this mobility Bona Fides staff get knowledge about managing organization on country level and how to set up fundraising strategy. This mobility took place since 3.05.2015 to 7.05.2015
