The project: "Strengthening of soft skills in order to improve the quality of adult education"Aims:- Strengthening the leadership skills of staff to improve team management, better use of human resources and improve readiness for innovative practices.- Strengthening leadership competences of educators to enhance their capacity to motivate, support and inspire adult learners.- Empowering the staff with the new knowledge and tools to effectively stimulate teamwork, resolve conflicts and to stimulate their own creativity.- Increasing the level of physical and mental welfare of personnel in order to allow better use of their potential, increase job satisfaction and prevent burnout.- Increase knowledge of new methodologies in the Polish market, strengthening willingness to use innovative approaches in working with local adults, and international partners.- Strengthening the ability of the educators to see and stimulate the potential of people at risk of social exclusion and the ability to build rewarding relationships with learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.10 participants: NGO managers, educators, craftsmen trainers, volunteers, instructors, project coordinators, coaches of extracurricular forms of education, teachers, therapist.Implementation of measures with the involvement of ILC Cyprus with the exact division of responsibilities at each phase of the project: preparation, implementation, monitoring, dissemination, evaluation.Preparatory activities in Poland: English course divided into 2 groups - 30 h, cultural preparation 16 h, pedagogical preparation 6 h.Implementation of the course in Cyprus - 6 days x 7hours + 2 days travel, for two groups (X.2016 and IV.2017).Trainers during courses in Cyprus: high qualified coaches from Cyprus and Ireland. Forms of the work: workshops, lectures and practical exercises in English in a multinational environment with participants from Greece, Cyprus, Italy and others.Participants will receive:1.Training materials in English language, cultural package from Cyprus.2.Certificate of completion the courses issued by the ILC.3.Certificate Europass Mobility.4.Certificate Europass Language Passport.5.Certificate about English course and cultural course issued by Vesuvio.The methodology of the project involves:- Language, cultural and academic preparation of the staff. - Participation in the 2 courses in Cyprus. Both courses based on the approaches, which are very little known in Poland, the first course - Enneagram methodology, the second course - "3 Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought". Courses are based on the components: theory (presentations), practice (individual and group exercises, elements of interpersonal training, mini-coaching), reflection (discussion, dialogue, self-reflection), feedback (from trainer and participants).- Evaluation of the results and support in implementing new methods by ILC coach, as well as mentoring.-Exchange of experiences and knowledge between participants 1-st and 2-nd courses, mutual support in implementing new skills.The impact of the project on:-individuals: to strengthen the soft skills of educators and managers;-team: greater team cohesion, better communication, performance and potential, mutual inspiration, support and motivation;The organization as a whole : developing the ability to use innovative approaches, building more satisfying relationships with adult learners, creating an effective and attractive educational offer, strengthening of international and European identity;-local level: new projects, new educational offer for adult learners from disadvantaged social groups, educators having greater ability to stimulate the potential and constructive support;-European level: strengthening links with partners from Cyprus, to make new contacts, disseminate knowledge in international Network;The potential long-term benefits.High-quality training materials, examples of good practice in Cyprus, results of psychological workshops will be useful in the local and international environment, available on the website of the applicant. Through this medium we will transfer our achievements to other entities in other countries. Interested people can adapt ideas, concepts, materials, techniques to suit their needs using the intellectual resources of the project. Project activities can be continued in another form and way. It will be a source of knowledge for self-study, for the exploration new opportunities and application on their own ground.This will transfer the project benefits into a long perspective.One of the members of Vesuvio will be assigned the task to take care of project results by updating them through visibility in social media, by organizing workshops on new methods of multiplexing skills and knowledge. It is planned to measure the effectiveness of these activities by interviews, surveys, opinions.
