Start date: Dec 31, 2014, End date: Dec 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Students of vocational school have the right to expect high quality of education as well as the support in planning their future career. The peculiarity of vocational education requires to prepare students for functioning on dynamically changing job market. The new project entitled „ Equaling the chances in access to European job market” is a big step forward in realizing these challenges. The following partners: Spanish – ESMOVIA and Italian – Sistema Turismo, are involved in completing the project. They are companies with great experience in offering educational services in the field of realizing international projects. The high level of education in our school is provided on condition that aims include outer context which is focused on cooperation with foreign partners. Our school is located in a small village and most of the students live in the rural area or small towns. Out of 605 technical school students 503 students live in the country, that comprises 83%. Teenagers coming from small towns or villages have lower standards of social skills such as: communication skills, team work, self-presentation, giving individual opinions etc. As the employers claim, vocational school graduates lack in basic skills and competences which are necessary in social life. The contemporary job market requires key competences including computing skills, communication in foreign languages, technological culture, enterprising skills and social competences. Taking into account the needs of technical school students in the area of vocational education as well as other conditions, participants of the placement have following aims: Major aim: - increase the chances of employment on European job market. Detailed aims: - improve vocational skills according to standards of up-to-date, continuously evolving job market, - extend vocational competences gained so far, - get to know work conditions and new technologies in highly developed countries, - develop social skills and key competences, - improve communication skills and the ability to cope with everyday situations with the use of foreign language including work time, - increase work and geographic mobility. In the project there will participate students of the third form willingly. These students are being trained as: technician of agriculture engineering, technician of automotive vehicles, technician of renewable energy systems and equipment, technician of nutrition and gastronomic services, technician of information technology, technician of building industry. Each occupation will be represented by 7 students so that 42 students in total will participate in the project. Willingness always equals responsibility which is a great opportunity especially for students with difficulties in being a traditional student. They will have a chance to take part in an unusual event which enables them to extend vocational competences, raise their self-esteem and strengthen their active attitude towards the world. Through the foreign placement, participants will gain a lot of benefits resulting even in regional development. Improving vocational skills and qualifications, getting to know new technologies and services as well as European branch standards will enable students to transfer them on national ground and use in Polish companies. Due to it, participants may have chances to equal production systems and services, increase the quality, employ new technologies and organization methods. Forming of students’ creativeness and enterprising skills will boost their chances to be employed in the future. The experience, earned during the placement abroad, will enable them to learn about job market in Europe. Completing the foreign placement will also enrich the future graduates in better activity and easier functioning on a job market. The students may achieve all these things by participating in the placement in foreign companies. The project is planned to be realized from 02.11.2014 to 30.06.2016. Both partners and participants will be involved in every stage of the project, such as: participants’ introduction and preparations, defining of partners’ duties, completing of all organizational and logistical aspects before students departure, foreign mobilities, project evaluation and results presentation. While the project is realized we will use the methods based on strict cooperation with partners, continuous adjusting and improving placement quality.
