By taking part in this project, we want to help our students to gain work experience in a foreign country and to improve their language skills. Furthermore, we are convinced that having completed an internship in London will definitely upgrade our students’ CVs. Staying with host families should help to foster the cultural exchange of both parties. In addition to that, a stay in multi-cultural London will give our students the opportunity to enhance their social skills (tolerance, open-mindedness, ability to work in a team). However, offering such an international program will not only be at the students’ advantage as it is expected that reports about Erasmus+ on the school website as well as in local newspapers will have a positive impact on the reputation of our school. In addition to that, we, the teachers at BHAK & HTL Freistadt, want to offer the best education possible to our students and we are convinced that taking part in the Erasmus+ project will help to reach this goal.
