Search for European Projects

Wir machen Jugend fit für Europa
Start date: Jun 26, 2014, End date: Jun 25, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Some core points Our students should recognize reliable and ready-to-use knowledge of foreign languages and ICT as requirements for a successful career. Mobility will certainly become of greater importance in the future, and our school wants to establish the prerequisites for this development. One of the aims of the sought course is to bring together educators from different countries with an advanced knowledge of English who want to expand their abilities of commanding ICT and will use up-to-date web tools to create collaborative projects. This course is an excellent opportunity not only to meet such educators and discuss practices, but also to learn how to embed the use of ICT tools in daily teaching as well as to nurture and develop further collaboration and new projects with different schools throughout Europe. Due to the participation in the course our school may gain experience in new methods of teaching (including e-learning platforms, educational social networks, et cetera). The use of the English language, meeting other teachers from different European countries, getting to know various educational systems/methods of work, presenting innovative methods of work are supposed to be a valuable source of inspiration for our daily teaching after the course. By setting up new collaborative projects for yourself and the pupils/students, the aquired skills will be passed on to foreign partners. The participant is applying because she has gained experience in international collaboration and will coach those projects in the future.
