The central idea of our school was: "We are the school". We settled this thinking in the european context and are planning the project "We live in the middle of Europe". The whole staff of our school was included: all children, all teachers, all parents,.... . The projekt took two years and in the end there was an international festival. During the next two years there will happen many different activities: Activities with all pupils: - market for international books - English theatre - plays in other languages, music, dancing, sports, creative, food for example - also with extern partners. - the European Day : activities and exhibition from the House of Europe in Stuttgart - art at our school: the eurpean flag is painted at a wall from our school - boxes with books all over Europe - partnership to Cardiff, Wales: exchange pt pwer point presentations, greetings and a visit in Cardiff Activities in the classes: - European contest in drawing 2015 and 2016 - European songs - international cooking with parents - European countries (pupils' presentations) - Christmas in Europe - jounrey through europe - European Puzzle (wood) The project was great. All people were motivated and interested.The mobility supported the european idea for the project. It was very interesting to get in touch with other teachers from other countries. We were teaching the idea of European thinking and this the basic for freedom. We will also habve a profit in the future: we have an information board about Cardiffand our partnerschool, we have the great wall at school with the flag an we are in contact with the house of Europe in Stuttgart.
