The adolescents who belong to the Russian-speaking minority of the countries Italy, Greece, Hungary, Sweden and Latvia will take part in this youth meeting. The involved partner organizations dedicate a large part of their work to the integration of this group of adolescents in the particular countries. On the base of the reflexion of one’s own cultural identity we train for a succeeding integration. On the one hand we want to obtain an acceptance of their cultural identity among the adolescents; on the other hand we would like to motivate the adolescents to open up to young people of other countries. Units to the following subjects are planned: • Get to know with play and fun • Examination of the own cultural identity • Sensitization of the cultural self-awareness and external perception • Get to know of the living environment of the adolescents of all partner countries in this meeting • Elements that explain meanings and chances of a bilingual education to the adolescents • Units for the development of an European consciousness, especially a development of the prospect of the participants Planned as a meeting, essential parts of the work will take place in different small groups. We take care that all small groups contain adolescents of all countries. The languages used during the meeting will primarily be Russian, considerable parts will be in German and English, too.
