The main aim of the project is to promote the cultural cooperation among local communities through sport activities.The project's objectives are to bring the people, communities and economic actors of the border area closer to each other in order to facilitate the joint development of the co-operation area.The initiative is targeted towards the development of sport activities, in order to raise the level of education, socializing and health state of the citizens, with special regard to the youth, through the promotion of table tennis, box and chess on both sides of the border as well as exchange of experience and establishment of new partnerships in the sport field between Romanian and Hungarian sportsmen and experts. The project's target groups are the following: members of the 4 involved sport clubs (about 270 in the field of chess, 80 in the field of table tennis, 50 in the field of box - 400 persons in total) and students from 5 schools and 4 kindergartens from Nyíregyháza (approximately 100 children.) The indirect target group of the project is the entire population of the counties: Satu Mare (372 933) and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (581 623).The main results of the project are: 12 cross border sports events and trainings, one web page developed and a publication.
