WHAT ABOUT EVS!
Start date: Feb 1, 2015, End date: Apr 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED 

This Prοject will host 8 volunteers from different countries, civilization, community, national environment that will provide voluntary service for 8 months from February 2015 to October 2015 and will live in Avgorou village. The program will be implemented in Avgorou Community, located in Famagusta, and covers countries from the Project , as the Sending Countries and Cyprus as the Hosting Country and the hosting and coordinating organization. The aim of the Project is to give the opportunity to young volunteers from European and non European Community that want to offer their voluntary services by taking part in every program of our organization. In this way our Project promotes multicultural, fighting of racism and discriminations of sex, religion, culture, nation etc. Also with their integration and acceptance from the community it is developed the spirit of solidarity between youth, the dialogue, between youth from different countries and civilizations , the exchange of cultures , cultural polymorph, is encouraged the social cohesion and finally is acquired the informal learning The subject of the Project is the voluntary work with infants, children, youth and elderly people of the community of Avgorou, aimed at improving the living standards. Achieving this goal will be to participate in all activities of the Program with the employment, care and protection of infants, toddlers, preschool and school age and older. In addition they will have the opportunity to participate in organizing and implementing of sports events, and also other activities of the Organization and partners (organizing and attending seminars, workshops, community awareness).They will also have the opportunity to take initiative in applying the methods of implementation. With their involvement in this Project will acquire informal learning which is one of the main principles of EVS.
