We Are All Theatre was a training course which took place in Italy from 19th to 26th of October 2014. 29 youth workers from 10 organisations from Italy, Spain, Greece, Armenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, UK, Netherlands, Turkey and Estonia participated in the project and learnt Theatre of the Oppressed methodology to promote social inclusion and active participation in social and cultural life for young people with fewer opportunities especially in integrated groups (such as groups composed of young people with and without disabilities). All methods used were of non-formal character and young people’s needs and expectations were reflected on the final programme with the help of continuous communication with partners. With this project we were aiming at:* improving European youth workers’ competences in providing Theatre of the Oppressed methodology as an powerful, creative instrument that stimulates social inclusion and active participation of young people;* defining social issues, obstacles, oppressions, conflicts that young people (especially those with special needs) define crucial for their social inclusion and active participation;* giving visibility to European youth organisations’ role in transforming society through Theatre of the Oppressed performances on local level. At the end of the project 29 participants actively took part in 10 general sessions on different Theatre of the Oppressed techniques (including Image Theatre, Forum Theatre, Participatory Photography, Newspaper Theatre) and created more than 3 public Forum Theatre performances in the territory.
