The proposal meets the requirements for an ongoing protection and projection of the Orthodox religious and cultural tradition by proposing "routes" which allow physical access to religious sites and monuments and also free access to digitised material for study. Expected Results: In particular, the project envisages the systematic collection, comparative evaluation and scientific promotion of the cultural content of a digital legacy of Orthodoxy which is either dispersed and is freely available or may be directly digitised and distributed freely - as a public good to users of the internet.It is also envisaged to develop- 3 web pages the main web page of the programme, - 1 web page for the Holy See of Mytiline - 1 web page for the cultural foundation of Cyprus, which already have their own websites in 4 languages (Greek, English, French, German). - Also, a brief digital tourist guide containing accessible major ecclesiastical monuments and pilgrimages in the Aegean and in Cyprus, in 4 languages (Greek, English, French and German). - a 600 GB digital databank containing freely accessible digital material on Orthodoxy and patristic Christian texts. - 1 DVD Rom with a wealth of information (texts, photos in digital format).
