The projects goal is to construct a water pipe and sewer system from the Nuijamaa water intake plant to the new border station and on to the Kanavansuu water purification plant in the centre of Nuijamaa. The project will include the pipelines and two pumping stations.Description of objectives The growth in the traffic at the Nuijamaa border crossing point is expected to continue (when planning the border station, the aim is to enable the flexible border crossing of five million travellers annually). Similar services as in Vaalimaa will be built adjacent to the border station.
