The overall objective of the project is to contribute to increasing competitiveness and productivity growth of the cross-border region through modernization of the smallscale economic infrastructure as well as fosterage youth initiatives in environmentally friendly activities related to the ecology as well as energy saving and its efficiency. Project aims to improve bad condition of the existing public infrastructure and bad infrastructural linkage between bordering areas, to increase interest in the region among investors, to give more knowledge about environmentally friendly and energy saving economic solutions as well as to encourage neighboring countries to cooperate closely. Expected Results: Firstly, during the project's implementation time the modernization of 2 public buildings in both countries is planned. In addition to that, streets and pedestrian ways' infrastructure will be improved by installing new lighting technologies. Secondly, 8 common events are planned to be hold. The modernized public infrastructure and expected results of common events will have a long-term impact which all together would contribute to increasing competitiveness and productivity growth of the crossborder region.
