W Niemczech zdobywamy doświadczenie zawodowe.
Start date: Dec 1, 2014, End date: Nov 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project ”Gaining Professional Experience in Germany” allowed a group of students from ZSP 6 (technical college) in Ruda Śląska to have a four-week practical training in Germany. Two groups of students (20 people each) took part in the project, including 15 students specializing in computer science and 5 in building engineering. The first group went to Germany from 12.04.2015 to 09.05.2015 and the other one from 13.09.2015 to 10.10.2015. The hosting organization, Vitalis GmbH in Schkeuditz near Leipzig, organised a four-week practical training for the project participants. The students specialising in computer science had their training in the Training Centre Robotron in Leipzig and the students specialising in building engineering – in a historical Knights Court Gut Wehlitz in Schkeuditz. Due to structural changes currently happening in most companies in Silesia, it is difficult for graduates of technical colleges to find employment. One of the solutions to this problem is implementing the Erasmus+ project. Having their practical training in Germany will enable our students to find an attractive job in the future. They gained necessary practical and theoretical job experience. The programme of the project has been prepared by the coordinators from both organisations: Miss Małgorzata Worona (the hosting organization), Karina Jarczyk and Anna Krawczyk (the sending organization). It is based on the obligatory syllabus and has been consulted with the teachers: Adrian Gałazka (IT) and Mariola Waluga (building). As far as the computer science is concerned, the students improved their skills in : designing and building networks, installing and configuring servers, monitoring network, performance, configuring network devices, administering operating systems, diagnosing and fixing network problems, implementing wireless networks, designing Internet applications, following health and safety procedures. The builders improved their skills in: using building engineering systems, understanding technical documentation, carrying out measurements in building site, renovating and expanding residential buildings, interior finishing, masonry work, brickwork, basics of insulation. All participants also improved their language, interpersonal, social and organisational skills.
