Vzděláváním k modernizaci a zkvalitnění výuky - trendy školního vzdělávání ve světě (stáže), průřezová témata (CLIL), metodika výuky jazyka
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school has been involved in many national and international projects throughout the years (e.g. the EU project Money to schools, or repeated participation in Comenius projects or Výzva č. 56).Participation in the Erasmus+ project opens us the opportunity for education at the international level for an important part of the pedagogical staff . This way we can achieve innovation in The School Educational Plan in the field of foreign language teaching, in the area of optional subjects, so that we can effectively cooperate with European schools and shorten the odds of our pupils to assert themselves on the labour market. The aim of our project is to move our school, our teachers and our students to further development. Teachers will acquire, deepen and consolidate the knowledge, abilities and skills in the area of their pedagogical activities in the wider European scope. The project will allow a greater extension of the new methods of teaching (CLIL) in the compass of School Educational Plan updates. We also want our school to be more open for international cooperation and draw information from this collaboration, share experiences with other teachers and students. We want to send 11 teachers to various courses. The director will be sent out on the study visit intended for directors and other executives at British elementary school. The aim of this study visit will be the exchange of experience between managers in the area of new teaching methods and discussions about the possibilities of international cooperation. The director will utilise new information in further development of the school.Five teachers will attend combined courses of language and methodology. They are the teachers of English, German and Russian languages. These teachers will improve and deepen their language skills and will have the opportunity to watch the different techniques and methodological approaches in practice, which in turn they use in their teaching and in the framework of international cooperation.Three teachers will be sent out on courses of CLIL method. They will apply the knowledge of new trends in education in their lessons. The CLIL method will be applied in lessons of Physical Education, History and Chemistry. These courses will also help the teachers to implement cross-cutting topics in their teaching, for example in the areas of education for a healthy lifestyle (PE), education for thinking in the European and global context, multicultural education and migration (History). One teacher will complete a course focused on environmental education, in order to upgrade our school programme EVVO (environmental education) in the future and to help our school participate in the European school partnerships in the area of environmental education and sustainable development. One teacher of young pupils aged up to 11 will be send out to Bi-Component Structured Training Course which involves programme of language tuition, work attachment & cultural experience. The knowledge from the course will be passed on other teachers. Thanks to the Erasmus+ project our teachers will strengthen their competence in the area of language and its methodology (combined courses of language and methodology), the competence of the integrated learning and integration of cross-cutting themes (courses of CLIL methods) and managerial competence. Thanks to these competencies they will be better prepared to pass their own experience to their pupils so to fill the above mentioned objectives.Realization of the project and the other organizational matters will be coordinated and monitored by the coordinator and the school management. Courses and all other activities connected with these courses (e.g. accommodation) will be provided by the course provider and consulting agency with a guarantee of quality. All the legal relations between our school, the participants of the training activities and course providers will be treated in the contracts. The results and outputs of the education will be verified continuously by monitoring the pedagogical effects of teachers on pupils (inspection activities) and their own involvement and the involvement of their pupils in European projects. The dissemination of knowledge will be monitored not only in the context of our pedagogical staff but also in other schools in the region MAS Podlipansko, or within the international sharing of knowledge in the form of e-twinning. Presentation of the school and publicity will be monitored. The Erasmus+ project is a very important intermediate in our own lifelong education on an international scope. At the same time, this project represents one of the important steps on our path to European cooperation. The main topics for us are the development of pedagogical skills and other skills necessary for European cooperation. The impact of this project on our school is the long term effect on the greater part of the teaching staff and thus also on the qualitative growth of the school.
